Qantas To Modify A330 Cabins

Following the recent AU$30m improvement to its Brisbane heavy maintenance and engineering facility, Qantas has announced that its fleet of 30 A330 aircraft will undergo cabin upgrades. The cabin upgrades will begin from late 2014, with the work expected to take around 30 days for each aircraft to be completed; the programme is scheduled for completion in mid-2016. In addition, the carrier is set to install advanced equipment to enable its fleet of 737 aircraft to undergo heavy maintenance at the facility.
