Qatar Airways will take delivery of its first three A380 aircraft in June and it will inaugurate them on a daily service to London Heathrow. The airline’s CEO, Akbar Al Baker, revealed the news at a conference in Berlin on Wednesday and also said it has another seven of the double-decker A380s on order. Al Baker also explained that Airbus was on schedule to deliver its first A350 to Qatar Airways "towards the end of this year". The carrier is the launch customer for Europe's new mid-sized passenger aircraft and has 80 A350s on order. Qatar Airways has a total of 300 Airbus and Boeing aircraft on order, including options.
