SAS Cuts Israel Summer Service

Scandinavian airline SAS is to halt year-round flights to Israel, citing stiff competition and, “political instability”, according to a spokesperson quoted on Check-in.dk.

<p>Scandinavian airline SAS is to halt year-round flights to Israel, citing stiff competition and, “political instability”, according to a spokesperson quoted on Check-in.dk.<p>After a 20-year absence, SAS resumed flights to Tel Aviv in 2012, but its four-times-weekly Copenhagen-Tel Aviv service will stop in March 2016. However, flights should begin again in Winter 2016/17.</p>
