SIA-Tata Venture Opts For A320

A planned Indian airline joint venture between Singapore Airlines and Tata has chosen the A320 over the 737 for its operations, according to a Reuters source. The full-service airline, set to begin operations later this year, reportedly plans to initially lease up to 20 A320s. Tata’s other airline joint venture, a no-frills carrier run together with Airasia, is also expected to use A320s.
