Sichuan Airlines To Take Three A320s On Lease From CALC

Chinese carrier Sichuan Airlines has signed an agreement with China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC) to take three A320s on a 12-year lease.

Chinese carrier Sichuan Airlines has signed an agreement with China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC) to take three A320s on a 12-year lease.

The three aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2016 and will join the Chengdu-based airline’s fleet of 63 Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

Winnie Liu, deputy CEO and chief commercial officer of CALC, said: “We are confident that the newly signed leases and quick delivery schedules would again address Sichuan Airlines’ needs and provide timely support for its expansion plans.”

After signing a purchase agreement last month with Airbus for two additional A320s, CALC expects to expand its fleet to around 170 aircraft by 2022.
