Indonesia’s Sky Aviation has taken delivery of its first Sukhoi Superjet 100, record of which was signed on December 29. The document states that the aircraft is technically sound and fully meets the performance criteria. The aircraft, MSN 95022, will be flown to the carrier’s delivery base at Ulianovsk this month, shortly after which it will start commercial flights. Indonesian officials recently named human error as the cause of the Superjet 100 crash which killed 41 people on May 9, clearing the aircraft’s name and any concerns over its safety. Indonesia has granted the aircraft a type certificate, allowing its export to and use within Indonesia.
