SR Technics has signed a number of MRO contracts with low-cost carrier easyJet covering line and light base maintenance work at stations in the UK and Switzerland.

The deals include a line maintenance agreement across multiple easyJet stations in the UK, including the airline’s largest domestic base at London Gatwick Airport.

In addition, more line maintenance work will also be carried out in Switzerland, while light base maintenance services will be provided in Geneva.

All contracts will run for a period of three years, confirmed SR Technics.

Ian Davies, easyJet’s head of engineering and maintenance, said it will work closely with the Switzerland-based MRO to ensure expectations are met.

SR Technics’ interim CEO Jeremy Remacha said: “Our teams are committed to continue delivering safety, quality and reliability in line with the easyJet’s expectations, enabling the airline to focus on its core business.”
