SriLankan Airlines Adopts Amadeus’ Altéa Suite

SriLankan Airlines and the Amadeus IT Group have announced an agreement that will see the airline migrate to Amadeus’ full ‘Altéa’ suite by 2014. Through the agreement, SriLankan Airlines and its sister airline, Mihin Lanka, will adopt Amadeus’ next generation IT suite to help manage mission-critical reservations, ticketing, inventory and departure control processes. The new partnership will facilitate the airline’s entry into the oneworld global alliance. The first phase of the migration, which covers the reservations, inventory and ticketing modules, is set to be completed this year, whilst the migration to the Altéa departure control system module should commence in Q1 2014.
