SWISS International Air Lines has confirmed its first Bombardier CS100 aircraft will enter into service from July 15.

Following the expected delivery of the aircraft at the end of June, the Swiss flag carrier will be the first airline to take Bombardier’s twinjet aircraft into its fleet.

SWISS has a firm order for 30 of the CS100 aircraft, which have been beset by a series of delays, and has earmarked it to replace its existing fleet of 20 Avro RJ100 aircraft.
