Swiss-AS Wins Contracts In Japan

Japan Airlines subsidiaries Japan Transocean Air (JTA), J-AIR and Ryukyu Air Commuter (RAC) have selected Swiss-AS’ ‘AMOS’ as their joint aircraft maintenance management software. Swiss-AS said the contract win relied on its co-operation with Lufthansa Systems, an AMOS business unit has been set up in Singapore to “better reach customers in the Asia-Pacific region”. The three subsidiary airlines will implement and use AMOS jointly in a single system environment to exploit synergy effects within the group. The project kicked off in January 2014 with the aim of having AMOS up and running in approximately twelve months.
