TAT To Become Austrian Subsaidiary

Tyrolean Technik (TAT) the MRO division of Tyrolean Airways has been re-established as a separate company ahead of Tyrolean’s merger with Austrian Airlines.

Tyrolean Technik (TAT) the MRO division of Tyrolean Airways has been re-established as a separate company ahead of Tyrolean’s merger with Austrian Airlines.

As of April 1 the carriers will become one entity under the Austrian brand with TAT to become a fully-owned subsidiary of Austrian.

TAT employs around 120 technicians at its Innsbruck facility and specialises in providing maintenance for Dash-8 aircraft.

TAT is responsible for servicing the 18 Q400 turboprops in Austrian Airlines’ fleet, meanwhile work for third-parties accounts for close to 40 per cent of its orderbook.
