TAV Eyes Foreign Airport Tenders

Turkish airport operator TAV is seeking international expansion to shore up revenues once its contract to run Istanbul Ataturk airport expires in 2021. The company, which is 38 per cent owned by French airport operator ADP, is considering tenders for New York LaGuardia as well as airports in Latin America and Southeast Asia. Ataturk currently generates about half of TAV’s pre-tax earnings.
