Flag carrier Thai Airways has denied reports it is looking to sell off its fleet of six A380 aircraft.

According to the Bangkok Post, Thai Airways president Charamporn Jotikasthira said there are no plans to sell or ground the aircraft following speculation the airline was looking to offload the A380s as part of a financial restructuring brought about by heavy losses since 2013.

Jotikasthira said Thai Airways continuing to operate the A380 makes “strong business sense” if flights are filled to capacity.
