Thailand’s NewGen Takes 737 From GECAS

Thai carrier NewGen Airways has taken delivery of a 737-800 aircraft from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), becoming a new customer of the Shannon-based lessor.

Thai carrier NewGen Airways has taken delivery of a 737-800 aircraft from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), becoming a new customer of the Shannon-based lessor.

GECAS said an additional 737 will also join the NewGen fleet later this month as part of the Bangkok-headquartered airline’s fleet expansion plans.

Its currently operates an all-737 fleet, comprised of four -400s and two -800s.
