The transaction is subject to cargo carrier FedEx acquiring TNT Express, a deal which is expected to be rubber stamped by the end of H1 2016.

Once completed, ASL Aviation will take over all flights operated by TNT Airways and Pan Air Líneas Aéreas while it expects both carriers will uphold contracts with partner airlines, contractors and suppliers.

Employees of TNT Airways and Pan Air Líneas Aéreas will also become part of the ASL network.
