Turkish Airlines has launched operations at its new 71,000m² cargo terminal.
The total unit load device capacity has doubled to 1,200m² and area dedicated to special cargo has tripled.
The facility now has 39 storage rooms at four different temperatures, for nine types of cargo, including medicines, food supplies and flowers.
“As Turkish Airlines has grown over the past decade, Turkish Cargo has seen similar expansion. Not only has its cargo network expanded, but there have been continuous improvements to its infrastructure and procedural processes,” the airline said.
Turkish Cargo operates nine freighters across 108 countries.
