Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has sold a second pair of landing and take-off slots at London Heathrow Airport in less than a month.

Under the new deal Turkish Airlines will take over one afternoon slot-pair from October 25 in a transaction that SAS says is worth $22m.

SAS, which sold a pair of slots to an undisclosed airline at the beginning of February for $60m, is left with 19 pairs of daily slots.

In announcing the sale, SAS confirmed that it did not expect to divest itself of any other slots at the airport.
