Uni-Top Buys Into Grandstar

Privately-held Chinese cargo operator Uni-top Airlines has reportedly bought a 51 per cent stake in Grandstar Cargo from state-owned Sinotrans Air Transportation Development. Tianjin-based Grandstar was launched as a joint venture between Korean Air and Sinotrans in 2007 and recorded a loss of roughly $100m last year. It operates one 747-400F, while Uni-top has three 747-200 freighters.
