Russian carrier Ural Airlines has opened a new MRO centre at Koltsovo International Airport.
The 8,300m2 hangar replaces a previous MRO facility at the site and has space for four A321 aircraft or two A321 and one A330.
Ural Airlines said that the new facility will enable it to perform MRO checks and services that previously were only available outside Russia and that it aims to offer maintenance to other airlines.
Ural launched a fleet renewal programme in 2006.
It currently operates 34 A320 family aircraft and aims to start operating A330-type aircraft next year.
