UTC Signs EasyJet A320ceo Wheel And Brake Contract

UTC Aerospace Systems has signed a contract with easyJet to supply wheels, carbon brakes and MRO support for the low-cost carrier’s fleet of 68 A320ceo aircraft.

The new contract extends the relationship between the two parties, with UTC having previously provided wheel and brakes to easyJet since their A320 aircraft entered service.

UTC said it will provide the equipment through its land systems facility in Troy, Ohio, while MRO services will take place in Hatfield, UK close to easyJet’s headquarters.

Jim Wharton, president of UTC’s Landing Systems division, said: “This selection demonstrates easyJet's confidence in our track record of providing quality products and services with the lowest total cost of ownership.”
