Airbus has signed a 12-year contract with Vietnam Airlines to provide flight hour services for its fleet of A350 aircraft.

Airbus has signed a 12-year contract with Vietnam Airlines to provide flight hour services for its fleet of A350 aircraft.

Under the terms of the agreement signed on Thursday (July 2), Airbus will offer line replaceable units and spare parts availability through a pooling service at Vietnam Airlines’ Hanoi facility.

The state-owned carrier is the first airline to sign up for Airbus’ aftermarket service.

Vietnam Airlines received its first A350 on Tuesday (June 30) and has an additional 13 of the aircraft on order.
