Wizz Air Signs Line Maintenance Contract With LTB

Low-cost carrier (LCC) Wizz Air has has signed a line maintenance services contract with Lufthansa Technik Budapest (LTB) for eight of its A320s.

Low-cost carrier (LCC) Wizz Air has has signed a line maintenance services contract with Lufthansa Technik Budapest (LTB) for eight of its A320s.

The contract covers the Hungarian LCC’s aircraft stationed in Budapest and Debrecan and will take effect from February 2016.

Aswell as carrying out maintenance on the aircraft, LTB will also take responsibility for managing Wizz Air’s hangar at the airport in the Hungarian capital.

József Váradi, Wizz Air’s CEO, said: “LTB performs consistently at the level that meets our high standards for reliability and quality and they continue to manage the increased workscope resulting from our growth while maintaining a competitive price.”
