Wow Air To Increase Cheap US Flights

The founder and CEO of Icelandic low-cost carrier Wow Air has confirmed that the airline is already looking to increase the number of flights it operates to the US after positive response to its £99 ($160) tickets which were launched last month.

In an interview with Reuters, Skuli Mogensen said that Wow would be adding four more aircraft to the routes between Iceland and the US in 2016.

Mogensen also revealed that he is considering inviting outside investment into Wow, potentially offering shares to investors with knowledge of the LCC or transatlantic sectors in the next two years.
