AAI Expands Airbus Parts Capabilities

Avtech Avionics & Instruments (AAI), a subsidiary of independent maintenance provider AMETEK MRO, has added more than 50 part numbers to its capability list covering avionics equipment in new and mid-generation Airbus aircraft.

Avtech Avionics & Instruments (AAI), a subsidiary of independent maintenance provider AMETEK MRO, has added more than 50 part numbers to its capability list covering avionics equipment in new and mid-generation Airbus aircraft. Miami-based AAI has increased its repair capabilities for the A300, A310 and A320 family, and said it aims to broaden its appeal to airlines looking for avionics repair and exchange pool options. Ricardo Linares, vice-president of AMETEK MRO Florida – AAI, said: “Having repair proficiency across different Airbus aircraft models and varying avionics systems in one shop is a big plus, especially for the small to medium-sized operator. Our aim is to offer the ultimate avionics support within this specialist sector.”
