AAR has had its contract extended by Icelandic cargo carrier Bluebird Cargo for PBH services on its fleet of five Boeing 737 classic aircraft.
The new agreement further extends the contract between the two parties which began in 2007.
“AAR’s robust European logistics network and mainland distribution center in Brussels has ensured that we have been able to continually support Bluebird Cargo for over 10 years,” said Nick Price, senior vice president – operations, commercial programs at AAR.
Bluebird Cargo, which is based in Reykjavik, provides freight services throughout Europe, Asia and North America.
In 2016, AAR announced a string of new or extended PBH agreements with global airlines. Last week, the aftermarket specialist confirmed a deal with U.S. carrier Allegiant Air covering its fleet of 36 Airbus A320s.
