AAR, the US-headquartered aftermarket specialist, has signed a power-by-the-hour (PBH) contract with Polish low-cost carrier Enter Air covering its fleet of 19 737 aircraft.
Under the terms of the long-term agreement, AAR will cover the airline with nose-to-tail fleet component inventory management and repair services.
No specific financial details were disclosed, but the Illinois-headquartered firm described the contract as a “multi-million dollar agreement.”
Deepak Sharma, president, AAR International Supply Chain, said the contract will help Warsaw-based Enter Air optimise fleet performance, increase operational efficiencies and manage costs as it continues to grow.
The new agreement signals further growth for AAR in Europe, which in addition to a component repair facility in Amsterdam and its UK-based Airinmar subsidiary, has also created a new international sales team located near London Gatwick Airport.
