AEI Signs Up For 30 737 Freighter Conversions

Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) has signed an agreement with an unnamed customer for 30 737-800SF conversions comprised of 15 firm orders and 15 options.

Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) has signed an agreement with an unnamed customer for 30 737-800SF conversions comprised of 15 firm orders and 15 options.

The modifications to the aircraft will get underway in late 2018 with first deliveries scheduled for 2019.

Following the announcement, AEI now has more than 80 firm orders and commitments for its twelve pallet position 737-800SF.

The conformity aircraft for the 737-800SF conversion programme is currently on location at Commercial Jet’s facility in Miami.
