AerFin buys an A340 for disassembly from GOAL

AerFin has confirmed the purchase of an A340-300 airframe from GOAL German Operating Aircraft Leasing for disassembly.

AerFin has confirmed the purchase of an A340-300 airframe from GOAL German Operating Aircraft Leasing for disassembly.

The A340 was previously under lease with SWISS International Air Lines before UK-headquartered AerFin bought the airframe from GOAL, a joint venture between German investment firm KGAL and carrier Lufthansa.

No financial details of the transaction were released.

GOAL currently owns and manages around 50 aircraft with services including operating leasing, technical asset management and aircraft remarketing.
