Aeromexico Receives 787 From ILFC

Aeromexico has taken delivery of its first 787 Dreamliner from Boeing and lessor International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC). It is the first of nine 737-8 aircraft Aeromexico is to introduce into its fleet, including five which will be on lease from ILFC. It will operate a total of 19 Dreamliners, including 10 787-9s ordered last year. “This 787 Dreamliner delivery to Aeromexico is another milestone in our four decade-long, strategic relationship with the airline and ILFC,” said ILFC's CEO, Henri Courpron. “ILFC obviously shares Aeromexico's views that the 787 will deliver significant operational benefits and customer value.” Andres Conesa, CEO of Aeromexico, added: “Our customers will surely benefit from the world-class service that distinguishes Aeromexico, which we now bring on board the most modern aircraft ever built.”
