AeroVision wins ERJ-135 asset management contract

AeroVision International has signed a contract with an unnamed US-based airline to provide asset optimisation services on an undisclosed number of Embraer ERJ-135 aircraft being removed from operation.

AeroVision International has signed a contract with an unnamed US-based airline to provide asset optimisation services on an undisclosed number of Embraer ERJ-135 aircraft being removed from operation.

Under the terms of the agreement, Michigan-headquartered AeroVision will oversee management of the aircraft which will either be used for disassembly for component spares or return to service with another operator.

AeroVision will provide staff to supervise the aircraft earmarked for disassembly, with spare being offered for sale to ERJ MRO specialists and operators of the aircraft.

Once disassembled, the total number of ERJ family jets disassembled by AeroVision will reach 31.
