AFI KLM E&M Buys 50 Per Cent Of Engine Parts Supplier

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has purchased a 50 per cent stake in Florida-based Tradewinds Engine Services.

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has purchased a 50 per cent stake in Florida-based Tradewinds Engine Services.

Parts supplier Tradewinds provides trading, brokering and consignment of parts for engines including the PW4000, CFM56-3/-5/-7 and the CF6-50/-80.

Franck Terner EVP AFI KLM E&M said: “Combining Tradewinds’ strong engine parts trading activity with our existing partnership with Bonus Tech for engine tear-down, AFI KLM E&M is proposing a comprehensive platform in Florida. This strategic move allows AFI KLM E&M to offer extensive engine MRO capabilities, aiming to complete the value proposition for its worldwide customers."
