AFI KLM E&M Extends Thai Support To A350s

AFI KLM E&M has won a contract with Thai Airways for component support on its future fleet of A350s, with twelve aircraft scheduled to join its fleet from this summer.

AFI KLM E&M has won a contract with Thai Airways for component support on its future fleet of A350s, with twelve aircraft scheduled to join its fleet from this summer.

Following a tender process, Thai selected the MRO to cover its A350s with services including component pooling access, maintenance services, logistics material support at the carrier’s main base in Bangkok.

It extends on a similar cooperation signed between the parties in 2015 covering 787 aircraft.

Chalermpon Intarawong, executive vice-president at Thai Technical, said: “The continuity of services as chosen by Thai Airways has even demonstrated the ability of AFI KLM E&M to offer both very competitive prices and the usual high service quality that is a credit to its reputation as an MRO.”
