The contract covers support for the Air France-KLM airline group along with its third-party fleets and the new license will run for approximately 10 years.
In a statement released on Friday (October 14), AFI KLM E&M said EPCOR customers will benefit from the agreement between the OEM and MRO, which will provide parts maintained and repaired by Honeywell-trained technicians.
“As the inventor of the APU, Honeywell fully understands customer needs to maximize reliability while reducing maintenance expenses. Our legacy in APUs means we can deliver the highest level of quality and expertise,” said David Shilliday, vice-president, commercial aviation, Europe, Middle East, Africa and India at Honeywell Aerospace.
“This APU service center license agreement is a continuation of our long-term relationship with AIR FRANCE KLM group to deliver best-in-class technology capabilities.”
