AIESL Signs MoU For New Dubai Engine Facility

Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Haveus Aerotech India to help develop a new MRO facility servicing CFM56-7B/5B engine types at Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport.

Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Haveus Aerotech India to help develop a new MRO facility servicing CFM56-7B/5B engine types at Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport.

Under the terms of the agreement, AIESL will provide its pool of engineers, manpower and technical expertise in building the MRO facility which is expected to cost around $100m.

Haveus Aerotech India managing director Anshul Bhargava told India's Financial Express: “It will be spread over a 9,000m² area and cater to the burgeoning demand of aircraft engine overhaul of CFM56-7B and 5B fitted on 737 and A320 family aircraft in the Gulf, Far East, Asia and the adjoining regions.”
