Majorca-based Air Europa has signed a long-term component supply contract with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) covering its fleet of 22 787 aircraft.

The contract, which will begin with the arrival of the first 787 in March 2016, covers component overhaul and engineering, pool and home base lease from LHT’s German facilities in Frankfurt and Hamburg.

The latest agreement builds on previous agreements between LHT and Air Europa dating back to 2002.

These include LHT providing landing gear services for the airline's 737NG and A330 fleets while also carrying out overhaul services for some of its CFM56-7 engines.
