Air Nostrum Extends APU Contract With StandardAero

US-based StandardAero has signed a five-year contract with Air Nostrum to provide MRO services for the Honeywell RE220 APUs used on the Spanish carrier’s fleet of 20 Bombardier CRJ900/1000 aircraft.

US-based StandardAero has signed a five-year contract with Air Nostrum to provide MRO services for the Honeywell RE220 APUs used on the Spanish carrier’s fleet of 20 Bombardier CRJ900/1000 aircraft.

This new agreement is an extension of a two-year cooperation between the two parties signed in 2013.

As part of the contract, StandardAero will also provide Air Nostrum with OEM technical support and documentation, full OEM warranty processing, full access to rental bank assets, component repair & LRU capabilities and coordinated repair development with OEM authorisation.

Earlier this week, the US firm signed a similar deal with Taiwanese carrier Mandarin Airlines.
