Air NZ’s Next 777-300ER Refits Will Include Wifi

The wifi service will be provided by Inmarsat, and integrated with the Panasonic IFE systems.

The next phase of Air New Zealand’s Boeing 777-300ER refit program will allow the carrier to begin the introduction of its onboard wifi service.

More than half of the -300ER fleet has already been through the cabin upgrade, with the fourth of seven aircraft due to rejoin the airline next week. The final three aircraft are due to be completed by November, and these will be the first of Air New Zealand’s fleet to be equipped with wifi.
