Air Partner Acquires Remarketer Cabot Aviation

Charter brokerage firm Air Partner has bought aircraft remarketing specialist Cabot Aviation in a deal worth up to £1.2m ($1.9m).

Charter brokerage firm Air Partner has bought aircraft remarketing specialist Cabot Aviation in a deal worth up to £1.2m ($1.9m).

UK-based Cabot was founded in 1998 and offers services focused on reselling or dry-leasing aircraft and counts Cyprus Airways, Cargolux, KLM and DVB Bank among its clients.

Air Partner has confirmed that Cabot Aviation will continue to trade under its own name and its founders, Malcolm Holt and Tony Whitty, will lead Air Partner’s new aircraft remarketing division.

Air Partner, which is headquartered near Gatwick Airport in the UK, has traditionally focused on short-term wet-lease contracts.
