Airbus has formed a new company in Thailand to produce electronic operations manuals and flight data for airlines.

The subsidiary is named Airbus Flight Operations Services and will operate from a centre in Bangkok.

The site is due to open early next year with a 30-strong workforce, the majority of whom will be recruited locally, confirmed Airbus.

The centre will produce flight operations data and offer custom data for airlines to assist in fleet optimisation.
