Aircelle MRO Doubles Nacelle Capacity

Aircelle Europe Services (AES), the maintenance division of nacelle and thruster manufacturer Aircelle, has opened a new MRO facility at its Audemer site.

Aircelle Europe Services (AES), the maintenance division of nacelle and thruster manufacturer Aircelle, has opened a new MRO facility at its Audemer site.

The new 4,500m2 building has enable AES to double its capacity for maintenance work and sits alongside its existing 3,000m2 maintenance facility.

The MRO, which was formed in 2002, provides maintenance on all Aircelle nacelles and thrusters, which are used on engines powering the Sukhoi Superjet 100, Embraer 170/175, ERJ-145, A320, COMAC C919, A330, A380, 747 and 787.

Aircelle CEO Martin Sion, said: “The workload of Aircelle Europe Services' MRO activity has grown considerably since the company’s creation, and this new facility provides additional volume needed to handle our current thrust reverser and nacelle products, while also opening capacity for new nacelles, in particular on the A320neo and A330neo.”
