AME joins PDQ ‘ConsumableCare’ scheme

Air Maintenance Estonia (AME) has signed up to the PDQ ‘ConsumableCare’ programme. Risto Mäeots, director of planning and support at AME, described the move as “a logical decision” because it will enable the company to focus on core MRO activities, remain competitive and more effectively manage surplus stock levels. The ‘JIT Supply’ programme will ease the logistical burden on AME’s procurement departments by providing a single guaranteed source for the agreed list of high-use consumables and ensuring availability with minimal delivery times. The ‘Surplus2Revenue’ programme will provide AME with a steady return on its surplus material through proactive marketing to the wider community by PDQ’s sales team.
