Ameco Expands Beijing Hangar

Ameco is installing a tail dock in its four-bay Beijing hangar to accommodate extra aircraft. The investment in the hangar is worth $1m, and is scheduled for completion in September. The new dock is designed to accommodate 787s and 747-8s. The hangar, completed in 1996, currently has capacity for four 747s. Ameco is set to provide C-checks for ACT Airlines, Air Atlanta, Icelandic, and KLM. The extra hangar space will allow the company to fulfil these commitments.
