Ameco Signs Zhejiang Loong Airlines Heavy Maintenance Contract

Ameco Beijing has signed a heavy maintenance agreement with Chinese domestic carrier Zhejiang Loong Airlines covering its fleet of 14 A320 aircraft.

Ameco Beijing has signed a heavy maintenance agreement with Chinese domestic carrier Zhejiang Loong Airlines covering its fleet of 14 A320 aircraft.

Under the terms of the contract, Ameco said it began carrying out C-checks for the Hangzhou-based airline at its four-bay hangar on March 24.

The new contract expands on an existing cooperation between the parties which started in 2011, with Ameco providing landing gear overhaul, component repair and line maintenance for the Zhejiang Loong Airlines fleet.

Along with the A320s, Zhejiang Loong Airlines also operates three 737F aircraft on cargo routes.
