AMETEK Teams Up With AJW

Independent maintenance provider AMETEK MRO has signed a three-year “strategic partnership” agreement with AJW.

Independent maintenance provider AMETEK MRO has signed a three-year “strategic partnership” agreement with AJW.

Under the deal, AMETEK will provide component repair and overhaul services covering A320, 737, 757 and 767 aircraft which are under AJW support contracts.

The MRO will be providing support: electromechanical; hydraulic; pneumatic; environmental and heat transfer components, as well as fuel pumps and controls, avionics and instruments.

The work will be carried out at AMETEK MRO’s facilities in Florida and the Midwest, as well as by its subsidiaries Aero Components International, Avtech Avionics & Instruments, High Standard Aviation, Southern Aeroparts and Drake Air.

Ian Foster, repair vendor manager at AJW Aviation, said: “We have had an excellent business relationship with AMETEK MRO that spans more than 15 years... It is important for us to secure top-flight repair capabilities from skilled, OEM-trained, technicians and engineers.”
