ANZ sells interiors division

UK-based AIM Aviation, a designer of custom cabin interiors for airlines, has bought rival Altitude Aerospace Interiors from Air New Zealand (ANZ). The acquisition is intended to add Far East and Australasian customers to AIM’s existing presence in Europe, the Middle East and North America. AIM and Altitude cover the entire cabin interior from cockpit to rear pressure bulkhead, including bar units, lounges, seat modules, galleys and stowages. AIM is owned by private equity group TowerBrook Capital Partners. The transaction is expected to complete at the end of September 2014.
