Aventure Purchases 767-300ER For Teardown

Aventure Aviation has purchased a widebody Boeing 767-300ER, MSN 24952, from the Bank of Utah and Aeroturbine, as its first aircraft for teardown. The aftermarket logistics company intends to utilise this acquisition to provide spares support to 767 and 757 fleets, which according to senior director of sales, Melissa Coleman-Grina, will “considerably expand Aventure’s inventory of Boeing material and service capabilities”. The aircraft will be dismantled for parts at Aeroturbine’s facility in Goodyear, Arizona, starting February 2014..
