Delivering the right part to the right place at the right time is an aviation MRO precept. It’s a “make it happen” phrase that distills what can be a complicated supply chain activity down to an easily understandable, actionable task.
We’ve taken this concept to heart since acquiring in October the MRO Network, the London-based event and information services provider, and brainstorming with our new colleagues about how we can best deliver MRO insights and data to you.
I’m delighted to tell you we’re taking the best of six digital and print media products and launching an integrated suite comprising a new destination website, MRO-Network.com, with a daily e-letter, MRO Network Daily, and a monthly magazine, Inside MRO. The new suite will serve as a destination for the entire global aviation aftermarket community to connect and engage, and it will provide easy access to the full range of Aviation Week Network MRO offerings in media, events and data channels.
We hope this simplifies our portfolio for you—and how you interact with it and us—yet delivers even better information and insights.
Inside MRO will be distributed monthly in print and digital formats to more than 30,0000 airline and aviation aftermarket subscribers. It will combine the best of Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance (ATE&M) with the MRO Edition, plus provide deeper technology and engineering insights. It also will include more analysis and best practices—including strong European coverage, more insights from airline maintenance and engineering professionals, additional safety news, as well as more opinions from the global MRO community.
It will appear as a monthly magazine within Aviation Week & Space Technology, but it also will be a stand-alone issue distributed at major MRO and international events. The first issue will arrive in the May 23-June 25 edition.
MRO-Network.com will deliver industry-leading news and analysis from both MRO Network and Aviation Week—and allow you to quickly click to the other content and events that we produce.
Correlated to that will be the daily e-newsletter, which will retain the popular Talking Point and news briefs from MRO Network News, plus add other data and insights that you can see from any device, any time.
Key to all of this is engaging you, part of this dynamic and global market, in interactive forums found on MRO-Network.com and MRO Network Daily.
The new suite will launch in June and will be rolled out in conjunction with the ap&m Europe meet-the-buyers trade show in London, June 1-2, as well as Aviation Week’s MRO BEER in Prague, June 7-9.
We know you are bombarded with news and want an essential source to connect you with the right information, when you need it and how you want it delivered.
In all truthfulness, I’m grateful that we were able to take a step back and look at our portfolio as if we were starting from scratch.
If you were to launch your business anew, how would it be different? I bet its structure would be less complex yet deliver the same—or better—effectiveness. That’s what we’re striving for.
