Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency has issued an approval certificate to Baltic Aviation Academy of Vilnius, Lithuania, for its 733-007 full flight simulator (FFS.) The FFS will help train pilots alongside 150 training instructors at the academy. “This approval shows our training centre credibility in developing future aviation personnel in this rapidly growing region,” said Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO at Baltic Aviation Academy. Boeing estimates that Latin America’s fleet size will grow by 5.1 per cent annually meaning that up to 42,000 new pilots will need training by 2031. The training course completion certificates issued by Baltic Aviation Academy are valid in the European Union; Israel; Ukraine; Kazakhstan; Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
