BendixKing launches avionics retrofit for turboprops

BendixKing, a division of aerospace giant Honeywell, has launched a cockpit retrofit solution for Beechcraft's King Air turboprop aircraft to update avionics equipment.

BendixKing, a division of aerospace giant Honeywell, has launched a cockpit retrofit solution for Beechcraft's King Air turboprop aircraft to update avionics equipment.

The AeroVue integrated flight deck, includes a flight management system, autopilot and a synthetic vision system, as well as INAV functionality with electronic charts displayed on three large 12" LCD screens.

AeroVue also adds wireless capability to the cockpit of the business aircraft. BendixKing expects to obtain an FAA supplemental type certificate for AeroVue in the first half of 2015, initially for King Air 200 and B200 aircraft.
