The OEM said its Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe (BCASEL) facility is strategically located to support airline customers in the UK and Europe covered by its GoldCare services programme.

The facility, which will employ around 100 staff, will offer maintenance solutions including spare parts planning, ordering and supplier management.

Sir Michael Arthur, president Boeing UK and Ireland, said: “As Boeing continues its growth story in the UK, hiring on average a new person every day in this country, it is another important step to formally launch our aviation services business here and to recognise the team working at Frimley.”
